Not every guy is born with the body of Brad Pitt. In fact, most men have incredibly fast metabolisms that don’t begin to slow down until well into middle age, and gaining weight (and subsequently muscle mass) can be a challenge. Sure, every woman in America is jealous of that metabolism and the way that many men can spend a great deal of their life eating whatever they want and not gaining weight, but for most men the fast metabolism is like a curse and they just wish that they could put on some muscle mass! P90X is a great solution for the “skinny guy” who wants to bulk up because it comes with some unique features.

Strength Exercises: Sure, we know. You’ve tried strength exercises before and they haven’t been enough. However, because P90X comes with the ability to ramp up your workout efforts, the strength exercises that you’ll be doing can have quite an impact. Rather than just try to lift to gain muscle, Tony Horton will take you through a structured program that results in good, lean muscle that you can then build upon after.

Nutrition: Half of ditching the “skinny guy” and becoming the “lean muscle guy” is about nutrition. P90X has a comprehensive nutrition plan that will make sure that you’re getting enough protein to support muscle growth. In addition to multivitamins, you’ll benefit from the specially formulated P90X Protein Bars during the day and P90X Results and Recovery Formula to make sure that you replenish protein quickly after your workout is done.

Proven Results: Just go and look at the before and after P90X photos all over the internet! You’ll see that there were many “skinny guys” just like you who transformed their bodies with the P90X plan. It certainly will take dedication on your part, but if you complete the program you’ll get the muscle base that you need to keep building on strength, mass and bulk.

Almost more importantly, you’re unlikely to be the “skinny guy” forever. Your metabolism will slow down some day, and you’ll be happy that you put a solid workout plan like P90X into place before it did!

P90X is, without question, the most challenging at-home workout on the market today, and its workouts can be modified in such a way that you actually build muscle instead of just creating lean muscle tone.

Not all of us have access to a gym full of heavy weights. Not all of us have room for a massive at home gym stocked with weights. Really, not all of us even want to store a limited amount of weights in our living space, particularly if it’s crowded. But many of us still want to find a way to build our muscle mass. Fortunately, there’s finally a home workout program that’s structured in such a way that you can truly build muscle without tons of weights. P90X is, without question, the most challenging at-home workout on the market today, and its workouts can be modified in such a way that you actually build muscle instead of just creating lean muscle tone.

P90X Muscle Building Exercises

Of the twelve P90X workouts, five of them are entirely devoted to muscle strength and development. These exercises can be done using your body’s own weight as resistance, but you can also modify them to use resistance bands, which will make them harder and allow you to build muscle. You can also, when you’re ready, use weights instead if you want to. P90X has a ton of accessory tools that can also help with your muscle building, including the P90X Push Up Stands which help you do a perfect push up so that you’re actually building chest, back and arm muscles during that exercise instead of pulling from your core or other incorrect forms. If you’re thinking that P90X isn’t going to give you the same impact as bench pressing twice your body weight, then that’s right. However, the form of the exercises and the ability to continually modify them to be harder, require more resistance and even use weights means that you will build muscle mass.

P90X Muscle Building Nutrition

P90X isn’t just a workout plan, however. It’s also a nutrition plan, and P90X nutrition products are formulated to ensure that you get the nutrients and protein that you need in order to add muscle mass. If you’re not familiar with nutrition supplements, then we recommend that you don’t go out there on your own! The P90X products have everything you need, plus they’re specifically designed to complement the workout structure. If you’re really focused on building muscle, though, you may also want to consider some additional whey in your diet. Whey is a supplement that’s digested very quickly by the body so that the protein in it becomes available to the body for muscle building very quickly. It’s one of the best supplements out there to jump start adding muscle mass.

It is possible to build muscle without weights. You just need two things. Firstly, you need the right home workout, which we believe is P90X. Secondly, you’ll need to be determined and stay focused. That part is up to you, but if you’re reading this blog, we think that you probably have it in you!
